Moving Forward and Reducing Crime!

We are pleased to present the 2024 Cecil County Sheriff’s Office Annual Report. This is a comprehensive report that includes crime and arrest statistics, along with a description of agency operations and units.  It is my honor to be serving the citizens of Cecil County in my third term as Sheriff. You have my solemn oath that my team of law enforcement professionals will work hand in hand with the communities we serve to make Cecil County a great place to live, work, and raise a family. The Sheriff's Office is the primary law enforcement agency for the citizens of Cecil County, and as such, I will always hold myself and every member of this agency to the highest levels of service and integrity. We continue to use a data-driven approach and apply the best technologies in order to be efficient and focused on the allocation of our resources. We maintain outstanding relationships and information sharing with federal, state, and local law enforcement agency partners. Although these continue to be challenging times for Public Safety, we will work hard to provide around-the-clock services to keep you and your family safe and secure. As a member and past President of the Maryland Sheriff’s Association, I fight hard to keep public safety, and citizen concerns relevant in Annapolis. Maryland State legislation continues to hinder the ability of Law Enforcement to effectively police communities, I will continue to address these issues with the General Assembly and do all that I can to make it safer for our communities and deputies. I look forward to serving the community and maintaining the high level of professional law enforcement services that you have all come to expect. I get the pleasure of working daily with the outstanding men and women that make up the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office, and I am very proud to do so.
