Dfc. Bethany D. Limbert began her career as a Correctional Officer with the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office on February 24, 2014. Dfc. Limbert was promoted to Deputy First Class after completing her Maryland Police Correctional Training Commission certification on April 24, 2015.   She has been assigned to work in the Detention Center and the Community Corrections Center where she has gained much knowledge and experience. Dfc. Limbert possesses an Associate of Arts Degree from Harford Community College located in Bel Air, Maryland. She always presents herself in a professional manner and has an infectious positive attitude toward her peers, other Staff members and the public.

Dfc. Limbert is credited by her supervisors as being an enthusiastic team player, one who is self-motivated, and always willing to help others. She keeps abreast of all policies and procedures and she embraces the responsibility of overseeing inmates assigned to her care, as well as ensuring the security of the Community Corrections Center. Dfc. Limbert sets high standards for her own personal performance and she is always eager to learn and be challenged.

Dfc. Limbert is an asset to the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office and is as an excellent officer who is a worthy recipient as the:

“2016 Cecil County Community Corrections Employee of the Year”
