COVID-19 UPDATE

As of Wednesday, April 8, 2020, Cecil County Parks and Recreation offices will be open by appointment only until further notice. County Parks and Boat Ramps remain open. Boat Ramp Permits can be obtained by mail, by purchasing at the Sassafras Harbor Marina, or by scheduling an appointment at the County Administration Building. Playgrounds and basketball courts are closed. Please practice social distancing while in the park. For programming related questions, please contact Cindy Cantor at ccantor@ccgov.org or David Mencer at dmencer@ccgov.org. For park related questions, please contact Kelly Schaible at kschaible@ccgov.org. For refund related questions, please contact Clyde VanDyke at cvandyke@ccgov.org. Registrations for summer programs are now being accepted! You may register for any of our programs without making payment. Payment will be due once start dates are confirmed. Select fields will be back online for rentals to organized teams by permit only. Fields are not open for general public use. Per Governor Hogan’s Executive Order, groups must be 10 or less and all groups must adhere to the social distancing guidelines of 6 feet. Parks and Recreation staff will be present during all rentals to ensure these guidelines are being followed. We request and appreciate your cooperation as we bring these fields back online. Fields will remain online as long as groups follow the Executive Order guidelines.

Pets:  Pets are welcome in our parks and must remain leashed at all times.  Pets are not permitted on athletic fields, including synthetic turf, baseball and multi-purpose fields.  Please help us keep our parks clean by picking up after your pet.
