Glasgow Connection Route #1
The Glasgow Connection is a fixed route public transportation for all ages servicing the town of Elkton to People's Plaza in Glasgow, DE. The route begins at 5:40AM and ends at 6:20PM, Monday through Friday.
Cross-County Connection Route #2
The Cross-County Connection is fixed route public transportation for all ages servicing the towns of Elkton, North East, Perryville, The MARC Train, Perry Point V.A., and Cecil College in North East and Elkton. The route begins at 5:30AM and ends at 10:07PM. Monday through Friday with a modified Saturday Schedule. This route was designed to combine the previous Perryville and Mid County Connections.
Elkton-Newark Connection Route #4
The Elkton - Newark Connection is fixed route transportation for all ages servicing the town of Elkton, Glasgow, DE, Newark Industrial Park, Four Seasons Plaza, Newark Park & Ride, Newark Train Station, Newark Transit Hub and the Rt. 279 corridor including the Elkton Library & Cecil College Elkton Station. This route operates Monday through Friday from 5:50AM to 10:21PM.
Harford LINK - Teal Line
The Teal Line is fixed route transportation for all ages, jointly funded by Cecil Transit and Harford LINK. The route services the towns of Aberdeen, Perryville, Havre de Grace, Perryman, as well as the Hollywood Casino and Great Wolf Lodge. This route operates Monday through Friday from 6:00AM to 8:17PM.

Riders paying by cash must have exact fare, drivers do not make change.
*Reduced fare is available for riders over 60, those with a Medicare card, or those with a mobility pass from another agency. Please have the corresponding ID ready to show the driver for verification.
**Up to two children under 46" can ride for free with a fare-paying passenger.
NOTICE: Fixed Route Deviations
Deviations may be made up to ¾ mile upon request. All deviations must be scheduled at least one hour prior to pickup and no more than one business day prior. A total fare of $4.00 per person will apply for each deviation, up to $8.00 if a rider arranges a deviated pick-up and drop-off. To request a deviation call 410-996-5295 #2 Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM. Demand Response Service may be used in lieu of fixed route services.
Transportation Reimbursement Program
This program reimburses a limited amount of transportation costs each fiscal year for qualified senior citizens, people with disabilities and low income individuals.

This is a countywide, origin-to-destination transit service for all ages, which must be scheduled in advance. The Demand Response operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, on a first come, first served basis. Riders under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Fares are based on mileage. Riders can pay with cash at the time of boarding or by adding Ride Credits to their account by cash, check, or money order. Contact the office at 410-996-5295, Option #2 to arrange a deposit. Alternatively, riders can submit payment along with the Ride Credit Order Form to the Cecil Transit Office or at the front desk of the Elkton Center. Riders paying by cash must have exact fare, drivers do not make change.
Exceptions to our bus service includes County Government holidays and severe inclement weather.
Volunteer Driver Program
Volunteer Drivers transport residents of Cecil County to necessary appointments, both in Cecil County and out-of-county, using Cecil Transit vehicles. Drivers over the age of 55 may be eligible for mileage reimbursement for some of their travel through the RSVP program. Travel Training
Cecil Transit provides free travel training to groups or individuals (of all ages) in need of instruction on using public transportation. The training includes an explanation of bus routes, bus stops, bus schedules and rider safety plus "on-site" instruction on Fixed Route.
If you are unfamiliar with using public transportation, have to make new journeys, or if you have difficulty getting around due to a disability or an illness, please call Cecil Transit at 410-996-5295 #2.

This policy is consistent with the requirements of Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. All buses in our fleet are accessible. If you believe you have been subjected to unequal treatment because of race, color, or national origin, you have the right to file a formal complaint. Complaints may be filed within one hundred-eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged discriminatory action. Commuter Connections and Guaranteed Ride Home
Commuter Connections provides complementary information on a host of commuter programs to assist in determining which commuting option works best for you. These options include things their Ridesharing Program and the Guaranteed Ride Home program. If you carpool, vanpool, use public transportation, or bicycle or walk to work two or more days a week, Commuter Connections will get you home in the event of an emergency as part of the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program. GRH allows you peace of mind and is regarded as an “insurance policy” in the event you experience an unexpected personal or family emergency or unscheduled overtime. Human Service Providers
• CCHD Medical Transportation
**Service animals trained to assist an individual in living independently are permitted on board transit vehicles. Pets must be in an industry approved carrier.
**If a passenger requires modification of any of Cecil Transit policies to accommodate their disability, they may request such a modification by contacting 410-996-5295, Option #2. Cecil Transit will work with individuals to find an accommodation solution.
**Flammable/Combustible objects are not allowed to be transported on the buses with exception of respirators, concentrators or portable oxygen tanks for ADA passengers.
Mission Statement: Cecil Transit oversees all county transit operations through the implementation of a fixed route and demand response bus service and the Rural Transportation Initiative which includes the Transportation Reimbursement Program and the Veteran’s Bus Pass Program. Cecil Transit’s fixed route bus system offers connecting service to Aberdeen, Havre de Grace, Perryville, Charlestown, North East, Elkton, Newark and Glasgow. Cecil Transit also provides transportation services connecting qualified individuals to job placement and training through a contractual agreement with the local Department of Social Services.
