PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Commission is to raise awareness of issues affecting women and families and to advocate for women and families in order to assist them in attaining the best quality of life for themselves and their families (Chapter 16, Article III of the Cecil County Code).
GOALS:
- To assist women and girls in Cecil County with reaching their goals and satisfying their needs;
- To research and gather support for legislation in our local, state and federal circuits that may affect women and girls in Cecil County;
- To increase community awareness concerning opportunities for women and girls; and
- To recognize the accomplishments of women and girls in Cecil County.
