Elkton, MD – [October 7, 2025] – After months of careful planning, migration, and cleanup of existing content, Cecil County is proud to announce the launch of its redesigned website, built to be more user-friendly, transparent, and accessible for residents and visitors alike.

“One of my many goals as County Executive is to make government more accessible and transparent. This website does just that,” said County Executive Adam Streight. “I look forward to future enhancements coming over the next few months that will make it even easier to interact with County government.”

The new site represents a significant investment in improving communication and accessibility. According to IT Director Dave Warnick, “This has been a long time coming. County IT, in conjunction with our partner CivicPlus, has spent hundreds of hours working to make this site easier to use and the information more organized, all while improving the navigation to be more intuitive.”

Cecil County encourages residents to explore the new website and share their feedback. The County is particularly interested in suggestions that could improve the availability of information and enhance overall user experience.
