COVID-19 continues to be a community-spread pandemic. Please remain vigilant and safe in your day-to-day activities as every person we come in contact with is a potential risk to our health. Cecil County Government
In response to Governor Hogan’s announcement yesterday afternoon regarding the Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery, County Executive Alan McCarthy has affirmed that Cecil County will continue reopening safely to the guidelines permitted by Governor Hogan and will wholeheartedly follow his lead to begin Stage Two effective 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 5th.

“Moving to Stage Two is a big step for our county and state and I am so very pleased that our small businesses can begin to work on economic recovery,” McCarthy stated. “Please continue to practice safe social distancing and wear masks, but also let’s do everything we can to support our retail stores and restaurants.”

Cecil County Government (CCG) remains committed to protecting the health and welfare of its employees during the COVID-19 pandemic, while maintaining essential, core services to the constituents of Cecil County.
