Cecil Cares Is Right Around The Corner: Volunteers Still Needed

ELKTON, MD. -- Cecil County Department of Community Services (DCS) will coordinate Cecil Cares 2019 – a countywide day of service – on Saturday, October 5th. Now in its fourth year, the event offers Cecil County residents the opportunity to volunteer their time, energy and skills with local organizations (nonprofits, faith based/service organizations, government agencies) on a variety of hands-on service projects throughout the county. The event is supported by Upper Shore Regional Council.
Cecil Cares 2019 includes projects coordinated by 12 organizations, including Cecil County Animal Services, Cecil County Arts Council, Cecil County Stormwater Management Division, Cecil County Watershed Stewards, Cecil Transit, Deep Roots, Elkton Community Kitchen, Fair Hill Nature Center, Habitat for Humanity, the Historical Society of Cecil County, The Paris Foundation, and the Town of Perryville.
