C and D Canal Museum
Chesapeake City;
Highlights the history of the busiest canal in the U.S., in operation since 1829. Exhibits, artifacts, and monitor giving up to the minute locations of ships in the canal; Waterwheel, and the oldest engines of their kind in the U.S. still on their original mount, on display. Mon. - Fri., 8-4.

The 107 House (Tory House)

A unique museum collection that reflects the heritage of commercial and recreational fishing and hunting on the Upper Chesapeake Bay. Decoys, gunning rigs, antique marine engines, mahogany miniatures, and more. Annual decoy show held the first weekend in Oct. Hours: Wed. - Sun. 12 - 4 pm and tours by appointment. Closed major Holidays. 
Civil War Trail Markers

• Perryville Community Park. Four legged recruits were trained here and sent off to war. The Mule School prepared mules for the rigors of battle.
• Rodgers Tavern, Perryville. A small town became an important outpost for Union forces, when the town's rails became the end of the train line.
• Port Deposit. A local artillery battery, Snow's Battery, found itself playing a vital role at Antietam.
