SENATE BILL 236 DRAFT FOUR TIER MAP SYSTEM

Cecil County's draft Senate Bill 236 tier map is now available. (click on sentence to access the map)
Senate Bill 236 was signed into law earlier this year and became effective on July 1, 2012. The law requires that all counties and municipalities establish a four tier system that will impact future subdivisions and land development in Cecil County.

General discussion regarding the map will be held by the Planning Commission on August 20, 2012, (click on date for agenda) at 12:00 p.m. in the Elk room of the County Administration Building, 200 Chesapeake Blvd., Elkton.
Public Hearings will be held by the Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 and Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Elk room of the County Administration Building, 200 Chesapeake Blvd., Elkton. The Board welcomes public input regarding the locations of the tiers, especially Tier 4.
