Chapter 200 Automatic Fire Sprinklers  

Public Hearing:       January 4, 2011 – 7:00 p.m. 

The Board of County Commissioners of Cecil County will hold a public hearing on January 4, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Cecil County Administration Building, 200 Chesapeake Blvd, Elkton, MD to consider amending Chapter 200, Building Construction, of the Code of Cecil County to effect the extension of the implementation date as it relates to the requirement of the installation of approved automatic sprinkler systems in newly constructed one and two family dwellings within the County.  The amendment proposes to change the implementation effective date from January 1, 2011 to July 1, 2011, so that the Board of County Commissioners of Cecil County may further examine this matter.
