Repeal and Reenact  Chapter 166 Ethics

The Board of Commissioners for Cecil County will hold a public hearing on September 6, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Elk Room of the County Administration Building, 200 Chesapeake Blvd., Elkton to consider the repeal and reenactment of Chapter 166 Ethics of the Code of Cecil County.  The proposed ordinance is in response to SB 315, approved in 2010, which requires conflict of interest and financial disclosure provisions for elected local officials by a county to be equivalent to or exceed the state law.    Click here for a copy of the proposed ordinance: Ordinance 2011-10 Chapter 166 Ethics.
