TO: ALL RESIDENTS OF Meadowview, West Creek Village, Persimmon Creek, and Highlands, Elkton, MD Cecil County Department of Public Works, Water and Wastewater Division, will be flushing water mains and fire hydrants in your area on August 22 nd – August 24th, 2011 between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Flushing of water mains and hydrants is a standard practice that is done to remove the build- up of sediment and scale from the interior of water mains which will help maintain the quality of water delivered to our customers. During this period there is the possibility that the water may become slightly discolored and customers may experience low water pressure for a few hours.
