RECYCLING LOGO CONTEST

Solid Waste Management Division

The Solid Waste Management Division and the Board of County Commissioners congratulate Megan Harnish, Grade 7, from Perryville High School for winning the recycling logo contest. Megan received a certificate of recognition from the Commissioners at their March 4, 2008 meeting and her winning design will be used on recycling brochures, advertisements, and flyers for the County's single stream recycling program.

The runner up and winner of best elementary school logo was Dylan Handrahan, Grade 5 from Good Shepherd Catholic School in Perryville. Alexsis Conway, Grade 8 from Perryville Middle School won the recycling slogan contest, and Hannah Sanford-Crane received the EPA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Environmental Services.
