Cecil County Commissioners Seek Volunteers for AppointmentsElkton, MD - The Board of Cecil County Commissioners is seeking to update the list of residents interested in volunteering to serve on the various boards and commissions for Cecil County. Citizen participation allows for open communication and helps to ensure we are working to serve the needs of our citizens.
County residents interested in being appointed to a board or commission must submit an application. Currently, the Board is seeking volunteers interested in serving on the Bainbridge Development Corporation Board and interested citizens should submit an application by October 21, 2011.

Vacant positions become available throughout the year as terms expire on the various boards and commissions. Be advised that there are several boards and commissions that have mandated guidelines to establish qualifications for membership. Residents are encouraged to apply for an appointment to a board or commission if you have a particular background, skill, or affinity for it. Applications will be kept on file in the Commissioners' Office and will be considered when a vacancy becomes available on a board or commission.
