The Office of the State's Attorney for Cecil County has initiated or adopted a variety of programs and services to assist citizens who are involved in the court system in some way, as well as provide information to the general public about safety issues. The following are links to the these programs.

Cecil County Drug Task Force

An investigative unit that works to apprehend violators of the Controlled Dangerous Substances laws of the state of Maryland.
Juvenile Court and Restitution

The Juvenile Court Division prosecutes persons under the age of 18 who have committed acts which would be crimes if they were committed by an adult.
Mediation Unit

A center that offers a way to resolve certain criminal offense charges through mediation without going to court and at no cost to the participants.
Pre-Trial Restitution of Worthless Checks

A program to assist local merchants with bad check losses by obtaining full restitution for the victim without adding to the financial burden of the criminal justice system.
Sex Offenders Registry

Information about the Maryland Sex Offender's Registry, created as part of the State's effort to protect children and others from those with histories of crimes against children and other sexual offenses.
Victim Services

A program that provides basic services to those who have been a victim of a crime or have witnessed a crime.
