The Cecil County Farmers' Market is back for its seventh year! The Farmers' Market will be held at a new location and time beginning this Friday, and every Friday through October, from 3 to 7 p.m., at the corner of Howard and Bow Streets in Elkton under the pavilion. The market is growing, and will have numerous vendors this year, such as Locust Point Farm, Galena Blooms, Priapi Gardens, Wye Natural Soaps, among others.
All items for sale are locally grown or produced, including plants, herbs, annual and perennial flowers, produce, premier soap, home-made BBQ sauce, cut flowers, locally raised beef and pork, etc. When buying local, you get fresher, healthier, and better tasting food. You're also supporting an economy near your home and supporting Cecil County's agricultural heritage, as well as preserving the rural community and open space.
