New Homeowner Area From Our new Homeowner Convenience Center located at the Central Landfill will be opening in early May 2008. This area will provide residents with a larger well organized place to recycle and dispose of refuse.
Woodlawn Transfer Station Renovation Regulations From February 4, 2008 until May 15, 2008, or until renovations are completed, there will be some changes to regulations. Woodlawn Transfer Station will continue to accept refuse and recyclables; however, THERE WILL BE A 10 BAG LIMIT ON TRASH DURING CONSTRUCTION. At this time oil and antifreeze will not be able to be accepted. Rules and Regulations may be subject to additional changes in acceptance of materials due to the circumstances of construction. We apologize for this inconvenience due to progress.
Refuse Disposal Permit Temporary residents with out of state licenses may receive a refuse disposal permit at no charge. Permits are issued at the Cecil County Central Landfill. A Cecil County property tax receipt is needed as proof of residency in order to issue this permit. Cecil County residents that are members of the armed forces with out of state licenses should call 410-996-6275 for information on obtaining a permit.
