Sealed proposals for the Cecil County Government, Facilities Management Office; "RFP 08-10: Cecil County Courthouse CCTV System" as described in the proposal package, for the Cecil County Government will be received from qualified vendors until 1:30 P.M., on February 26, 2008, in the Purchasing Office, 200 Chesapeake Blvd., Suite 1400, Elkton, MD 21921.  The Contract will consist of the design, purchase and installation of an independent Close Circuit TV/CCTV System for the Cecil County Courthouse located at 129 East Main Street, Elkton, Maryland 21921, as described and specified within the RFP.  Additional specifications and/or instructions to bidders may also be obtained by calling the Purchasing Department, (David Pyle, Purchasing Agent), at 410-996-5395. 

A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference February 12, 2008, at 9:00 a.m.  for this RFP on site in the Information Technology Conference Room, 129 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921.  All Prospective vendors shall attend this mandatory on-site meeting.  Immediately following the meeting a tour of the Courthouse will be conducted to identify locations for the systems. 

Electronically submitted or late proposals will not be accepted.  All vendors shall acquire proposal packages from the Purchasing Department in order to submit any proposal or their proposal may be considered non-responsive.

All questions or discussions concerning this proposal, bid documents, specifications, etc., shall only be coordinated through the Purchasing Office.  The County shall not be responsible for information obtained outside the County Purchasing Office, concerning this or any other County bid, RFP, solicitation or quotes. 

Upon request, the Purchasing Office will provide vendor lists to requesting parties for all solicitations published unless a vendor/vendor provides a written request barring the disclosure of their information until after specific bid award. 

The Board of County Commissioners of Cecil County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, RFPs and to waive any technicalities
