Request for Proposal 07-04  -- CLOSED

Sealed proposals for the "Renovation of the Cecil County Courthouse" as described in the proposal package, for the Cecil County Government will be received from qualified vendors/vendors until 1:30 P.M., on November 29, 2006, in the Purchasing Office, 218 North Street, Elkton, MD 21921.  The Contract will consist of extensive renovation of the existing Circuit Court House to include interior, exterior and outside areas.  A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at the Purchasing Office, 218 North Street, Elkton MD, October 30, 2006 at 9 a.m.  Additional specifications and/or instructions to bidders may also be obtained by calling the Purchasing Department, (David Pyle, Purchasing Agent), at 410-996-5395 or Angela Kuhn at 410-996-1105.  

Electronically submitted bid proposals will not be accepted.

Bid proposals will not be accepted from contractors/vendors who have not obtained original plans and documents from the Cecil County Purchasing Office.

Upon request, the Purchasing Office will provide vendor lists to requesting parties for all solicitations published unless a vendor/vendor provides a written request barring the disclosure of their information until after specific bid award.  

LOCAL VENDORS PREFERENCE:  Section 183-21 of the Cecil County Code provides for Local Preference whereby the Board of County Commissioners of Cecil County reserves the right to show preference to local bidders in the purchase of supplies, equipment, and services.

The Board of County Commissioners of Cecil County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities
