The Cecil County Office of Planning & Zoning provides staff support to the Board of County Commissioners, the Planning Commission, the Board of Appeals, and the Historic District Commission. This office also implements the goals and objectives of the County's Comprehensive Plan through the administration of the Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Regulations and the Forest Conservation Regulations. The office is comprised of twelve individuals located in the County Administration Building.
Land Preservation Programs Presentation
On Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 7 PM staff from the Office of
Planning & Zoning will be providing an overview of various land

Online Forest Conservation Regulations updated
At their meeting of June 17, 2014, the County Council adopted amendments to Sections 2.58, 3.2(Q) and 3.2(R) of the County's Forest Conservation Regulations. The online Forest Conservation Regulations have been updated to reflect these changes. To view the updated document, please click here.
Senate Bill 236 - Adopted Tier Map
On December 17, 2012, County Executive Moore administratively adopted a Senate Bill 236 Tier Map for Cecil County. The action was taken in accordance with Section 2.2.4
of the implementation and guidance documents associated with the Sustainable Growth and Agricultural Protection Act of 2012.
