Building Permit Applications

Dept. Home

Permit Processing Hours  -  8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday

Permits must be applied for in person. To apply for a building permit, a permit application must be completed by the owner of the property, authorized representative of the owner(s) or a  licensed contractor. The applications are available to download below and available in the Permits and Inspections Office. Attached to each permit application is a check list of  information that is required to be submitted with the permit. Select the building application for the specific type of work that you will be doing. Click on  FAQ's & CODESto answer any questions you may have or contact our office. A $30.00 non-refundable application fee will be required at time of application.  If the owner(s) of the property are not applying then written authorization (letter of permission) is required from the owner(s) before the permit can be issued.

Grading permits are a separate approval process from the building permit. If a Grading and Driveway Entrance Permit Application is required it will have to be completed prior to the issuance of a building permit. These forms are available on the Dept. of Public Works website or office.
