County Park Information
|
Cecil Community Center Park
Located at 17 Wilson Rd. behind the Cecil Community Center in Rising Sun, MD. This 17.5 acre Community Park houses two little league baseball fields, a multipurpose field, 4 brand new tennis courts and fishing pond and new half mile walking trail named the "Tiger Trail". This site also offers a new playground along with picnic tables.

Stemmer Run Boat Launching Ramp
Located on 22.5 acres on Pondneck Rd. in Earlville, Stemmers Run offers water access to the Sassafras River for all boating enthusiasts. Piers and beach front property provide for various recreational experiences and there is ample parking. Yearly boat launch permits can be purchased through the Cecil County Treasurers Office, $10 for Maryland and/or Cecil County Property Owners, and $35 for non-residents. Harbor View Community Park
Located at 2 Bayview Road, Chesapeake City, 21915. This park has a small playground system and half basketball court. Approximately .548 acres.

Cecil Sports Complex
Located at 110 Bard Cameron Road, Rising Sun 21911. The Cecil Sports Complex is an 18.5 acre parcel that plays host to Babe Ruth Baseball, Cecil County Junior League Football, Cecil Soccer League and the Cecil County Parks and Recreation Youth Lacrosse Program. The complex consists of one baseball field, a football field and a soccer field. This site has plans for two additional baseball fields and a concession stand.

Elk Mills Community Park
Located at 815 Elk Mills Road, in Elkton 21921. This 6 acre park was established for public use in the Elk Mills Community and currently offers families a playground, pavilion, picnic tables, play system, and a back stop with an area for open area for open play. The pavilion is available for private rental.

Fletchwood Community Park
Located at 17 Chestnut Drive, Elkton 21921. This 25.2 acre park offers residents open space, basketball courts, baseball backstop, pavilion, with picnic tables benches and a playground.
Rowlandsville Fishing Park
Located off Basin Run Road, Conowingo 21918This quaint little spot offers hours of fun in family fishing. This location fosters a get back to nature atmosphere with the peace and tranquility of recreational fishing.

The Cecil Arena
2706 North East Road, North East 21901. This newly purchased 7.11 acre property is a one story indoor sports arena with a turf field, outdoor field space and a paved parking lot. The building is used for camps, leagues, youth sports and recreation classes in addition to a variety of other athletic uses.

McMillian Farm
211 Brick Meeting House Road, North East 21901. 101 acres of farm land and wooded area. Future Site of Cecil County's first Regional Park . This land, once developed will be a new home to walking trails, athletic fields and a variety of other recreation opportunities both passive and active. |

Chesland Park
401 Elk Forest Road, Elkton 21921. 164 acres includes six developed soccer fields and forty acres of woods. Currently the home to the Cecil Soccer Organization. Plans include the development of additional soccer fields a baseball field and football field.

Elk River Park
32 River bend Parkway, Elkton 21921. This natural area is equipped with pavilion and a swing set. Future plans include a pier with a boat ramp.

Bohemia River Kayak Launch
Located on the northwest side of MD 213 at the Bohemia River Bridge.

Wallace-Carters Mills Park
702 Kirk Road, Elkton 21921. 24.47 acres of undeveloped land with historical ruins.
North East Little League Park
1285 Turkey Point Road, North East 21901. 12.1 acres of land that has five baseball fields, T-ball field, maintenance building , concession building and parking areas.
