DISPATCHER I / CALL TAKER

Cecil County Department of Emergency Services is seeking a Dispatcher I / Call Taker for the 9-1-1 center.  Salary $13.65/hr. plus overtime and an excellent benefits package within one month of hire!

Duties:  The applicant will be responsible for routing calls to the appropriate agency using voice and computer based systems.

Requirements:  High School Diploma or GED, 2 or more years in emergency communications and dispatch field, fire and EMS background and training, Certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher preferred, proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft Office, ability to use CAD system.
