The Cecil County office of the MSBDC was established through a cooperative effort between the Maryland Small Business Development Center, Cecil Community College and the Cecil County Office of Economic Development. It provides a wide range of assistance to emerging and small businesses in Cecil County.

The primary mission of the Cecil County SBDC is to deliver up-to-date counseling, training and technical assistance in all aspects of small business management. Its goal is to strengthen small and medium sized businesses, and contribute to the growth of our local economy.

SBDC services include, but are not limited to, assisting small businesses with financial, marketing, production, organization, engineering and technical problems, and feasibility studies.

The SBDC also makes special efforts to reach socially and economically disadvantaged groups, veterans, women and the disabled. Assistance is provided to both current and potential small business owners.

The SBDC conducts affordable educational seminars throughout the year in order to introduce local entrepreneurs to various public and private agencies and to programs that may be of assistance to them in starting and growing their businesses. Click here to view current course offerings.

Business Training Resource Center
