The Cecil County Board of Health met in the County Administrative Building, 107 North Street, Elkton, Maryland on Tuesday, December 4, 2007. The following members of the Board were present:
William C. Manlove, President Mark H. Guns, Vice President Rebecca Demmler, Commissioner Brian Lockhart, Commissioner Wayne Tome, Commissioner Dr. Virginia Bailey
Constituting a full Board.
The Cecil County Health Department's Annual Informational Directory was presented to the Board. The directory provides information about the Cecil County Health Departments organization structure, functions, missions, services and funding sources; as well as a complete directory of County health offices.
The Cecil County Health Department has vaccinated 3784 residents thus far this flu season, and will continue to provide flu vaccines.
The Board announced that this will be the last meeting of the Board of Health that Dr. Bailey will be attending as a result of her retirement. The Board wished her well and thanked her for her many years of dedicated service to the citizens of Cecil County.
