Elk Neck State Park |
Park has 2,200 acres. Family oriented, wooded campground has 31 sites with electric, water and sewer, 29 sites with electric only, and 199 sites for primitive or tent camping. Campground also has 9 historical rustic cabins and 7 mini-camper cabins. Each loop has a bath house. Park has 14 miles of hiking trails including signature trail to the historic Turkey Point Lighthouse. Swimming area has playground and picnic tables. Boat launch offers four ramps, bath rooms and store. |

An 8 mile hiking and biking trail from the Beaver Pond in Elk Neck State Forest, just south of North East to the Turkey Point lighthouse at the southern tip of Elk Neck. The trail offers a magnificent panorama of the Chesapeake Bay headwaters. |
