UMD Extension Cecil County 4-H Program To Host Open House & Project Showcase
ELKTON, MD. -- Are you between the ages of 5-18 and interested in: Animals & Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Arts & Photography, Camping, Citizenship & Civic Engagement, Clothing & Fashion, Communications, Computers & Technology, Crafts & Hobbies, Food & Fitness, Gardening & Plants, Healthy Lifestyles, Leadership, Science & Engineering, Robotics or Shooting Sports? With over 80 project areas offered the Cecil County 4-H program offers something for every youth.
The Cecil County 4-H Program will be hosting an open house & project showcase on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Cecil County Administrative Building in the Elk Room and University of Maryland Extension Cecil County Office located at 200 Chesapeake Blvd in Suite 1500, Elkton, Maryland. The open house will run from 6-7:30 PM. 4-H faculty & staff, volunteers and 4-H youth will have displays and activities to share with prospective and current families. 4-H is a youth serving organization that teaches many valuable life skills including character, citizenship, communications, leadership, responsibility, planning/organizing, social skills, and teamwork.
