Notice of Enactment

On Tuesday, May 21, 2019 Legislative Session Day 2019-10 the County Council of Cecil County Enacted:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

Resolution No. 32-2019 Budget Appropriation and Budget Transfer – Fund Balance - Volunteer Length of Service Award Program.  A Resolution to amend the Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for Cecil County, Maryland for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019 in order to provide the Cecil County Volunteer Length of Service Award Program Trust Fund, accounted for by the Volunteer Fire Service Department’s budget within the General Fund, expenditure appropriation authority to authorize $400,000 to be expended to contribute the unfunded liability of the Trust Fund.


Resolution No. 33-2019 Approval – Internet Service – Windstream – Multiple Year Contract.  A Resolution to approve a five (5) year agreement between the County and Windstream Enterprise for the provision of internet services for a maximum period of five (5) years at the monthly rate of $623.92; pursuant to which Windstream will provide a onetime credit of $4,600.00 to offset a portion of the cost associated with the installation of a 4” conduit to run cable into the Stemmers Run Department of Public Words office.

Resolution No. 34-2019 Amendments – Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual. A Resolution to amend the Cecil County Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual to comply with new provisions of federal law and to clarify existing policies regarding use of fleet vehicles and travel reimbursement across all departments and divisions of Cecil County government.
