Public  Hearing Notice

 

A public hearing will be held by the County Council of Cecil County on Tuesday August 15, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Elk Room of the County Administration Building, 200 Chesapeake Blvd, Elkton, MD on the following:

Bill No. 2017-14 Budget Transfer - Capital Budget - Board of Education - Rising Sun Elementary School - Boiler Project.  A Bill to amend the Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for Cecil County, Maryland for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, to move forward the project, including bond expenditure authority in the amount of $184,000 requested for the boiler project at Rising Sun Elementary School within the Board of Education General Capital Projects Fund resulting in a reduction to FY2019 and an increase to the current 2018 fiscal year. This change will also be reflected in the Capital Projects Program.

Bill No. 2017-15 Budget Transfer - Capital Budget - Board of Education - North East High School - Girls Locker Room.  A Bill to amend the Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for Cecil County, Maryland for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018 to transfer existing bond appropriation authority within the Board of Education Capital Projects Budget in the amount of $81,574.42 from completed School Capital Projects (Perryville Elementary Renovations $44,169.25, Cecilton Elementary Exterior Envelope $4,399.47, Perryville High School Cooling Tower $3,044, Boiler Replacement Projects at Kenmore, Thomson Estates Elementary, Cherry Hill Middle, and Bohemia Manor $29,961.70) to the North East High Schools’ Girls’ Locker Room Renovation Project.
