This park is home to the Holly Tree. Alongside the CSX railroad, the Holly Tree has been a long time Cecil County Holiday tradition. The yearly decorating and lighting of the tree, combined with visits from Santa and his helpers, usher in the Christmas Season in early December. The lighting event is always the first Saturday in December 4-6 pm and Santa Night is the third Saturday in December 5 - 8 pm.
