The holiday season is one of the toughest times of the year for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Sip & Share was created in an effort to connect grieving parents during the holiday season. The event will be held on December 8th at 2PM at Bodhi Counseling located at 2057 Pulaski Hwy, North East, MD 21901.

On the vast majority of occasions, when you have a conversation with a parent, they undoubtedly LOVE for you to talk about their child/children. For a grieving parent, that conversation can quickly become awkward or uncomfortable and, unfortunately, tends to cease for fear of inadvertently causing them additional pain.

This event will bring grieving parents, siblings and extended family and friends together to provide an opportunity to share stories with one another, support one another, and make new friends and encounter this holiday season together.

It is requested that those planning to attend donate a 'favorite thing' (toy, treat, clothes for ages infant through adult) in memory of their lost loved one.

The 'favorite things' donations will be given to the "Liveforthomas" Toy Drive benefiting The Bridge, Cecil County Violence, Rape Crisis Centers Children's Christmas Party.
